Do you have to go through the order process before you can sign up for texts?

No. Just look for the 10% off pop- up in the left corner of the home page. You can try the code I recieved TW2K52D4Q.

I got one on the last sale and the speed and accuracy is superb. One of the best highly rated thermometers. It seems expensive compared to the discount ones available everywhere, but if it saves a few steaks from being overcooked, it will pay for itself.

I thought I'd buy another one for my Sister in law who is going to cook Thanksgiving dinner. I hope she can appreciate it.

Agreed, cheap ones petty much ok, the only downside it takes extra 8-10 seconds to read temperature and ~ plus / minus 1-3F difference . I'd rather spend $5 on thermometer and spent $60 saving on meat. Heck, I don't even use one most of the times.

Thanks. My ad blocker kept the pop-up from popping up. The funny thing is, once I got it working and signed up for all their spam, they just sent me the same code that you got.

I've used cheap ones on amazon from $5-15 before getting the Thermapen One. Are the cheap ones fine? Yeah, they're slower for sure, but eventually get the temperature right. Is it worth the extra $45-60 to get the Thermapen One? Not really...

I'd recommend getting the cheaper model of the ThermoPop 2, DASH, or Executive readers for around $35, which both the Pop2 and Executive models are on sale for. They are faster than the cheap ones from Amazon and nearly as fast as the Thermapen One. I have the DASH as well, and that works very well, just not quite the instant reading of Thermapen One.

Ask yourself....Is it even physically possible for a metal probe to reach 205 degrees from ambient temperature in under 1 second when probed into a brisket???????

Just go for the cheap $4 one. I bought a thermoworks pen because of a deal on here and it broke within a year, super frustrating.

Under 1 second, no, 1-2 seconds yes.

When my hand is over a hot grill or sticking in a hot over, I prefer it to be there in the shortest time possible.
