Not a great deal. This is a 2024 tv, and the 2025 version of this 98" tv (QM7K) was on sale for $1,800 a few weeks ago.

I think $8k regular pricing is a little exaggerated

You are probably right. I got the 98 inch. When it was getting installed, I was told the 120 wouldn't fit anyway.

Eh... The 2024 model was actually reviewed better by most. The QM7K is slightly worse in most aspects other than reflection handling. I had both. After updating the QM751G to V201 firmware (color accuracy and motion was worse before that), it looked better than the QM7K in every way. I returned the QM7K, and still would've even if they were the same price.
They're very comparable, but rtings shows the 7K is slightly higher rated in every area except HDR Brightness.

Nearly all of the areas where the QM751G fell slightly short of the QM7K (color accuracy, motion, etc) were firmware issues and are fixed with the v201 firmware update. With the updated firmware, they're nearly identical TV's, other than the QM751G having better HDR brightness and the QM7K having slightly better reflection handling.

Already saw it in this range (and bought it.) So most likely, yes, it will return.

Even if it was 100 inches, at the end of the day its TCL. Yes they are great miniLEDs but they're for sure not the top of the line products out there and the price for these drop fast w/ how often they release new models. Most likely we'll see these at like 3/4 or 1/2 price in less than a years time.

If you saw how much component weight was removed from the K series, it would all make sense. I directly compared them on TCL's website, and nearly ALL K models weigh much less than the G. And it's not plastic they removed! Typical business move to create ONE product that gets great reviews, and then cost-cut it the very next year.

I suggest you wait for Black Friday since we are nearly there. It makes NO sense to purchase a tv before then.
