If you use it as a sugar substitute and bake a few cakes, it'll be gone in no time

What do people use this much maple syrup for?

I guess it will last indefinitely like honey but would take me like 10 years to finish.

Pancakes, on meatloaf to provide a sweet crust on top, over ice cream, on bacon wrapped scallops, etc etc

Better quality baking, a nice drizzle for bananas or peanut butter or cinnamon toast and of course...pancakes. Also, it's smoother than fake syrup so multiply that by more than 1 person and you can use it up in a matter of weeks/months. But yeah if you only use maple syrup for pancakes, that's a lot for 1 person.

EDIT: also, the bottle looks huge in the photo. It's really just big enough to pick up with a finger.

I make a mean maple syrup pecan pie. You sub the corn syrup with maple syrup so it adds extra layer of flavor. 😋

Thanks. I purchased one about three weeks ago and will take my receipt for a price adjustment when I go there today.

Actually no it will not last forever. It DOES have high sugar content but water tends to float to the top allowing mold to grow. Look it up, there are several gnarly pics. I get burned every few years from household members thinking it will last forever like honey...

I didn't store it in the fridge after opening, and both times the syrup had mold grew in it soon after, unlike honey which can be stored unrefrigerated.

I fill a small container to store in the fridge and then freeze the rest.

I use a tablespoon of it with Mashed Sweet Potatoes. It adds just a touch of sweetness, is natural and makes the sweet potato favor pop. Great stuff and great pricing.
