If you use it as a sugar substitute and bake a few cakes, it'll be gone in no time

This is even better than simple syrup for an old fashioned. Bourbon, Bitters, and Maple syrup = delicious.

I didn't store it in the fridge after opening, and both times the syrup had mold grew in it soon after, unlike honey which can be stored unrefrigerated.
It literally says on the bottle to keep in the fridge after opening. It's true for all real maple syrup.

What do people use this much maple syrup for?

I guess it will last indefinitely like honey but would take me like 10 years to finish.

Normal price, they are probably prepping people for a price increase because it has never been 15. It was 11.59, now 12.39.

That's the online price. $9.99 in store, which is not the normal price.

We buy a lot of Costco maple syrup. For me, I use a teaspoon and 2 oz Rye + bitters to make an old-fashioned. My go to drink.
