T-Mobile performs poorly on QCI7 (Mint and every other T-Mobile MVNO) when it's overcrowded, especially in places like Costco or a stadium. However, T-Mobile has the best raw download speeds when it's not congested. One reason for such performance is that almost all name-brand T-Mobile's own plans run on QCI6, as does Google Fi. So, every T-Mobile MVNO will have a bad time (except Google Fi) when congested.
Only a select few Verizon postpaid plans run on QCI7. All other MVNOs (Visible+, Visible+ Pro, Total 5G, 5G+, Spectrum) and Verizon Wireless run on QCI8. Then, at QCI9, all other deprioritized plans, like Visible Base, Total Base, and select US Mobile Warp, are found.

The long and short of it for me, Visible+ (highest plan) gives me post paid performance for MVNO pricing. Mint (or others) is what you'd do if you have exceptionally light data needs and you know you'll have coverage where you need it.
Lastly, I just went to Mexico for the first time, and Visible+ worked great (except having to change my iPhone to work only on LTE and not 5g), but this did not present any issues for me.

Will this last for a while so that I can wait for anything from Visible for Black Friday?
Mint is 90% of Tmobile quality. 10% of time is deadzone and slower data. You can use 500GB a month without issue. $180/yr for 20GB hotspot
Visible base is garbage. Visible plus works ,but your getting 1/5th the speed of Tmo. Using over 500GB a month isn't an issue. annual plans as low as $220/yr for unlimited hotspot
US Mobile (Darkstar) works great in ATT area. Able to add VZ and Tmo towers to the best coverage for extra fee. using over 500GB a month will get you booted. annual plans as low as $120/yr for 20-70GB hotspot. The best flex plans

1. VERIZON vs Tmobile. If you get good signal for both then Mint or Visiable will be good.
2. Verizon seems to have Ultra Wide Bands that are good for working down town.... but I don't think you have any Tmobile issues... if you live in Manhattan for example I think you would want Visible.
3. Hotspot... Mint just raised it to 20GB (from 10GB) of month a few weeks ago... it is not throttled. Fios highest end limits the speed of your hotspot to 15mb/s and their mid plan is limited to 10mmb/s but the amount of hotspot is unlimited.
4. Visible gives you $15 per month off your Verizon Fios Bill.
5. Mint has better customer service, with Visible you only have chat. This really does not matter unless you have issues... which I did when I first joined. And customer service was clueless and I litterly solved the issue myself... ChatGPT is your friend.
I don't think you can go wrong with each.
