T-Mobile performs poorly on QCI7 (Mint and every other T-Mobile MVNO) when it's overcrowded, especially in places like Costco or a stadium. However, T-Mobile has the best raw download speeds when it's not congested. One reason for such performance is that almost all name-brand T-Mobile's own plans run on QCI6, as does Google Fi. So, every T-Mobile MVNO will have a bad time (except Google Fi) when congested.
Only a select few Verizon postpaid plans run on QCI7. All other MVNOs (Visible+, Visible+ Pro, Total 5G, 5G+, Spectrum) and Verizon Wireless run on QCI8. Then, at QCI9, all other deprioritized plans, like Visible Base, Total Base, and select US Mobile Warp, are found.

But on the way out they left a sour taste in my mouth. Apparently they don't give you your account number or port out code unless you spend literally an hour+ on a call with their reps trying to get you to stay (and not offering anything particularly tempting, just saying "how sad" they are that I'm leaving). It's the kind of BS that will probably stick with me and make me unlikely to return even if Mint offers a better deal in the future.
Now you know for the next time.
P.S. If you want Tmobile there are other options or you can switch to Visible for 50% off for a year when her contract expires. Point is, if you want the cheap price, just continuously switch. That is my plan.
Thanks. I'll be needing this in 3 months. Hope I can still find this deal then!
I am getting $15 off my Fios bill... so do I switch to Mint and loose that $15 per month but save $15 per month on my cell phone bill? Or do I just stick it out and start paying $450 per year for their best plan?
I know the math... and I do save when I join back to Visible... so maybe it is worth it to switch.
Don't forget... before you switch Visible, change your email address so you can use your email address again, once you join.

But which deal did you get... you know the one that is cheaper then Mint Mobile.
And if customer service is so important to you, most prepaids are lacking. Even though they have chat.
