Equivalent to Visible+ is Total 5G+, which you can get for $30/month on BYOD.

T-Mobile performs poorly on QCI7 (Mint and every other T-Mobile MVNO) when it's overcrowded, especially in places like Costco or a stadium. However, T-Mobile has the best raw download speeds when it's not congested. One reason for such performance is that almost all name-brand T-Mobile's own plans run on QCI6, as does Google Fi. So, every T-Mobile MVNO will have a bad time (except Google Fi) when congested.

Only a select few Verizon postpaid plans run on QCI7. All other MVNOs (Visible+, Visible+ Pro, Total 5G, 5G+, Spectrum) and Verizon Wireless run on QCI8. Then, at QCI9, all other deprioritized plans, like Visible Base, Total Base, and select US Mobile Warp, are found.

Just port your number to google voice so you keep your current number. Then sign up as a new customer and just forward from that new number to your number in gv and your good. Your able to skip around and get the best deals all the time. Just have to change your esim/sim and forward your new number each time.

Correct me if I'm wrong but I think when moving your main number to Google Voice, you essentially just set the default texting/dialing apps to GV...aka forwarding isn't really involved? I'm debating about going this route and taking advantage of the Pixel 10 Pro deal that Mint is offering. I just hate having to play these games to get a good deal, and having to deal with the inconveniences that come with GV. I previously used Google Voice for 7 years on a work phone, where my company paid for Verizon service with a business number. I ported my personal number to GV for "free" service that ran over the work phone's 5G. In other words - used the default texting/dialing apps for business purposes, and used the GV app for personal purposes. My main complaint with Google Voice, and hesitancy towards doing this with Mint, is the 2FA issues. I had fairly regular issues with 2FA texts (banks and misc. online shopping, etc) that just would not come through to GV. Also experienced some annoyances with texting as GV does not support RCS. Still debating on this route (port to GV, and buy "new customer" deals yearly) versus switching back and forth between Mint and US Mobile every year. Hmm...
I think you are right in that it's a pain. It's easier said than done. Definitely not for everybody. The other main issue that gets glossed over is that if you are calling or texting anyone, you need to always remember to go through GV. Otherwise they see your new Mint number and not the regular number they've saved. Even if say -- you remember to do that and always make local calls via GV. But then what about international calls. International calls via GV are paid while they are free via FaceTime Audio. So then you have to either start paying for international calls, or start telling all your international contacts your new number, so they can save it. But then what happens the following year? You can't really be doing that every year to all your contacts. Point is -- depends on the person's situation. It can work for some, but it's a minor hassle at best, but totally impractical at worst.

I signed up my wife for a 3 month plan. As soon as I took it this deal went live about a week later. We just missed it. At that point they didn't have any deal for unlimited plan.

Today I called up Mint to ask whether they'll honor this deal since we just missed it. They refused. We moved from AT&T. Kicking myself for being in a rush to move out. If I had waited just for a short time, we would've had this deal. Now I have to sign up for $360. Sucks.

Debating whether to get this deal while still available or move to US Mobile's 'unlimited flex' as an existing customer for $210/year? Anyone been able to negotiate a better deal as US mobile existing customer?

I've had Mint for a year and I am very happy with it. I had unlimited for $180 but renewal costs $360/yr. Is there anyway an existing customer can get the $15/month deal for another year?

I got this last year has been awesome! Now same as others want to figure out how to get another year at this price!
With 10 days to go for renewal, mint offered to renew at same $180 price, we had already decided to move to us mobile as we were having issues with t Mobile, if you want to hang in there till the last minute you might get the offer to renew at same price

Just switched from mint to spectrum. $30 per line unlimited including taxes and fees bundled with $40 high speed Internet all fees included. Verizon Network which is still considered the best and for good reason. This pricing is guaranteed for 2 years.

I am happy with mint.

I looked and I have auto renew disactivated, but looking again in the mint APP, it is showing if I select the 1 year renewal, it is showing for me $180. I got a $180 last January 23 or so, from some deal sites I hear that the half off is running until February 4th.

When I talked to CS they said that I could be a non mint user for 1 day and come back as a "new customer" and get the half off deal. After that I looked and the half off, $180/year was already in my app; I had the 3 month plan selected because I did not want to lock into $360/yr. When I switched the renewal plan to 12 months is when I saw the $180 price.

I did get a text offering the half off to existing customers.

Bottom line: Check your app and see if the renewal identical to the one you had before is listed as half off. ie 3 months, 6 months, 9 months or 12 months.

If ANYONE hears about a credit card deal to renew, like there was a save $45 on $90 or more purchase last year with AMEX, LET ME KNOW.

OK!

So I learned the hard way to read before you buy. Switched a line from T-Mobile to Mint and saved quite a bit of money but took a cruise to Ensenada and found out that Mint only allows roaming in Canada and not both Canada and Mexico. Luckily I had another line with US Mobile (same T-Mobile) that allowed roaming in Mexico. Still love the service but make sure to read all of the fine print.
I always pack a spare unlocked cell and pick up a practically free (50 pesos) sim card with a plan already loaded on it from AT&T when I go to mexico. Check out virtually any oxxo or Farmacia Guadalajara or whatever store, and you're good to go with a MX phone number. Just pop that sim in and get unlimited for a week for about 50pesos, yup, less than $3 USD per week. Unlimited calls to MX and USA. Used to use telmex sim card but now find more data and better coverage with an AT&T Sim card purchased IN MEXICO. My texts actually came in when in Mexico with Mint, had to buy a 30 day minternational pass, 100 mins or so for $5usd also not bad,.

I did the same.. but if you hold out until close to the renewal date, and have auto renew disabled, I've found they send a couple "warning, your renewal is coming up and you haven't signed up for service yet! Turn on auto renew!" Messages.. and then offer a pretty steep discount a few days before the renewal date.

I think mine came to like $180/year for a slightly lower service (20Gb??)
