Equivalent to Visible+ is Total 5G+, which you can get for $30/month on BYOD.

T-Mobile performs poorly on QCI7 (Mint and every other T-Mobile MVNO) when it's overcrowded, especially in places like Costco or a stadium. However, T-Mobile has the best raw download speeds when it's not congested. One reason for such performance is that almost all name-brand T-Mobile's own plans run on QCI6, as does Google Fi. So, every T-Mobile MVNO will have a bad time (except Google Fi) when congested.

Only a select few Verizon postpaid plans run on QCI7. All other MVNOs (Visible+, Visible+ Pro, Total 5G, 5G+, Spectrum) and Verizon Wireless run on QCI8. Then, at QCI9, all other deprioritized plans, like Visible Base, Total Base, and select US Mobile Warp, are found.

Just port your number to google voice so you keep your current number. Then sign up as a new customer and just forward from that new number to your number in gv and your good. Your able to skip around and get the best deals all the time. Just have to change your esim/sim and forward your new number each time.

If ANYONE hears about a credit card deal to renew, like there was a save $45 on $90 or more purchase last year with AMEX, LET ME KNOW.
FYI there are currently no Amex, Chase, BOFA or Citi offers for Mint Mobile.

If anyone ever needs a port out in the future, Helium Mobile has a free plan with enough data to get you by for a few days.

I just left Mint after like 6 years. It was pretty decent but it got to the point where I could get unlimited data for less than I was paying Mint for 5gb.

But on the way out they left a sour taste in my mouth. Apparently they don't give you your account number or port out code unless you spend literally an hour+ on a call with their reps trying to get you to stay (and not offering anything particularly tempting, just saying "how sad" they are that I'm leaving). It's the kind of BS that will probably stick with me and make me unlikely to return even if Mint offers a better deal in the future.

You should have known. If you did any research on SD.net you would have seen that Mint runs this sale practically monthly. You just need to wait it out.

Now you know for the next time.

P.S. If you want Tmobile there are other options or you can switch to Visible for 50% off for a year when her contract expires. Point is, if you want the cheap price, just continuously switch. That is my plan.

Thanks. I'll be needing this in 3 months. Hope I can still find this deal then!

I'm in the same boat. But to me it is almost a wash.

I am getting $15 off my Fios bill... so do I switch to Mint and loose that $15 per month but save $15 per month on my cell phone bill? Or do I just stick it out and start paying $450 per year for their best plan?

I know the math... and I do save when I join back to Visible... so maybe it is worth it to switch.

Don't forget... before you switch Visible, change your email address so you can use your email address again, once you join.

So, when I tried to quite, they offered me three months of FREE service... and yes I took it. Called back in three months of course I asked for three more free months Smilie, in a friendly way and was shot down and I had no issues with getting the PIN and port out number and went to Visible for 6 months... on month number 4.

But which deal did you get... you know the one that is cheaper then Mint Mobile.

And if customer service is so important to you, most prepaids are lacking. Even though they have chat.

Looks like this is what I'll be doing rather than paying $100+ every month. Do you receive any promotions and/or incentives when you renew?
