Equivalent to Visible+ is Total 5G+, which you can get for $30/month on BYOD.

T-Mobile performs poorly on QCI7 (Mint and every other T-Mobile MVNO) when it's overcrowded, especially in places like Costco or a stadium. However, T-Mobile has the best raw download speeds when it's not congested. One reason for such performance is that almost all name-brand T-Mobile's own plans run on QCI6, as does Google Fi. So, every T-Mobile MVNO will have a bad time (except Google Fi) when congested.

Only a select few Verizon postpaid plans run on QCI7. All other MVNOs (Visible+, Visible+ Pro, Total 5G, 5G+, Spectrum) and Verizon Wireless run on QCI8. Then, at QCI9, all other deprioritized plans, like Visible Base, Total Base, and select US Mobile Warp, are found.

Just port your number to google voice so you keep your current number. Then sign up as a new customer and just forward from that new number to your number in gv and your good. Your able to skip around and get the best deals all the time. Just have to change your esim/sim and forward your new number each time.

The wording makes it sound like you can continue getting the discount after your plan is up. Does anyone know for sure? I wanna try it out first for 3 months before committing to a year.

Wow... cause the wording does not sound like that to me?

I just left Mint after like 6 years. It was pretty decent but it got to the point where I could get unlimited data for less than I was paying Mint for 5gb.

But on the way out they left a sour taste in my mouth. Apparently they don't give you your account number or port out code unless you spend literally an hour+ on a call with their reps trying to get you to stay (and not offering anything particularly tempting, just saying "how sad" they are that I'm leaving). It's the kind of BS that will probably stick with me and make me unlikely to return even if Mint offers a better deal in the future.
How long it took before they gave you port out account # and pin?

"Once the 3 months are up on your New Customer Offer, you can renew with a 3, 6 or 12-month plan to keep the savings going."

I'm on Visible Pro currently but T-Mobile has much better coverage in my area.

To answer your question... NO... once you accept what ever NEW CUTOMER PLAN you get... when that plan expires you are stuck at regular price.

My friendly advice....

I am also on Visible Pro right now and I came from Mint and will most likely go back to Mint once my contract finishes and then I switch back...

The differences between Visible Pro and highest Mint level...
1. Hotspot... Visible is unlimited and Mint is capped at 15GB.
2. Visible is better for international calling but the addon for mint is not much money... and if you do have friends out of country you are probably using whatsapp.
3. One uses Vezion's towers and the other uses Tmobile's.

My advice... treat Mint and Tmobile that same in your head... same service, no one is better than the other... again we are talking about Mint's highest plan. So to save the most amount of money get yourself a YEAR plan. Once your promotion wears off... you will pay full price if you want to stay.

And once you buy that annual plan, I am sure you will not be disappointed. But you will not be able to cancel... you can always go to another carrier but Mint will not give you a refund. But I don't think you need to worry about this especially since you are familiar with the Tmobile network in your area.

When I switch between the two... it is usually during a "Annual Plan Promotion"...

P.S.
This is also a good way to lock yourself into getting a new phone if you need one. Sometimes they offer pretty good cell phone deals on google pixels and Samsung. Got my kid their first phone and got TWO YEARS at half off plus $500 off the phone... I ended up paying a little under $800 (sales tax on the phone added almost one hundred) for two years of service and a S25 about eight months ago.

Sometimes when you call them up TO CANCEL YOUR SERVICE...

They offered me and my wife three months for free and we took it and switch to Visible 3 months later.

There is post below that the person was able to get the yearly plan for half price AND they then deducted $50 AND he came from a 3 month plan. But again, he called TO CANCEL HIS SERVICE. I find it hard to believe that he got the NEW customer promotion even though he was not a new customer and they knocked off $50.00. When I called to cancel they did not offer me anything like that.

I only talk about their highest level plan...

I never noticed a difference with service between Mint and Tmobile. And I went from Tmobile to Mint to Visible.

They ALL are suppose to be the same unless you are dealing with a VERY SMALL company.

1. You call up your company and ask for the port out PIN and your account number.

After you do this... NOTHING HAPPENS TO YOUR SERVICE and if this is all you do... you service will never change.

2. You then call up the new company or use chat and give them the information and it should take about 10 minutes before you are getting service with the new company. YOu also give them your esim... but I think you already verified that your phone works on their network.

3. There have been stories that it takes longer but usually those stories include some other unknow. Also if you need a SIM card, it may take longer due to you getting it in the mail VS a esim.

So me and my wife switched from Tmobile to Mint... it was flawless. 8 months later I got my kid a their first phone from MINT, but the promo was you must already have a phone number. So I used the cheapest company I can find on the internet and purchased a phone number and seven days of service and it cost me like $6.00 but it was from a startup company that only had a few employees and it took like 10 days to get my phone number ported to MINT but I was able to get the NEW customer promotion (two years of service for half price plus a discounted S25)... my kid did freak out during those ten days (as if they already had a phone...LOL).

I already have 3 months off on 12 months promo on the account, and my 1yr service is going to end in one more week. They are not honoring the promotion. It is costing $248

You already have... so you are NOT a NEW CUSTOMER...

My adivce is to switch to another Tmobile prepaid or Visible.
