They sell the coffee machine for a more/less ok price; but the pods are very expensive. I used to order those direct but they keep on increasing prices again and again over the last few years. I stopped ordering from them altogether and reverted to a normal regular coffee machine.

So the date will be be the last patent to expire. I guess nestle will keep filing incremental patents to keep competition at bay.
