The lowest I've seen for the S25 on Amazon was $650, so this is a great deal with a free 1-year plan if you're OK with Mint.

Yes they still have a ton of pre installed apps. But yes you can uninstall most and disable the Samsung ones which they deem you can't uninstall.

Honestly if you haven't owned Samsung in a very long time you're only hurting yourself. Samsung has become the default best rounded flagship phone for Android. They have very little software bugs, very reliable hardware, very long software support, frequent security updates, and a robust ecosystem of supporting accessories.

This bundle pairs a Galaxy S25 with a year of Mint service, and the strongest draw is the low effective price for a flagship phone plus unlimited plan. The S25 is described as fast, smooth, light, and strong on battery and camera performance, with Samsung features and long software support adding appeal. Mint is tied to T Mobile and works well in some areas, including Chicago and rural Missouri, with hotspot data recently raised to 20GB. The main cautions are order processing errors, possible new customer and port in restrictions, and spotty Mint reception in crowded stores. A solid value if Mint coverage fits your area.

Common Questions (5)

  • Mint runs on the T-Mobile network, and some users report trouble-free service in places like Chicago and rural Missouri. Others report weak or dropping signal in crowded stores like Costco and Walmart, so local coverage can vary.

  • Yes. After the S25 unlocks, the Mint SIM can be moved to another phone, and the unlocked Samsung can be used with another carrier such as Google Fi. For the US S25, dual SIM means one physical SIM plus one eSIM.

  • A port-in is not clearly required on the deal page, but the promo appears to depend on being treated as a new customer. If your number is already in Mint's system, the free year can be voided and the phone may be back-charged.

  • Most preinstalled Samsung apps can be uninstalled or disabled, and tools like Canta, Shizuku, or ADB AppControl can remove more apps without root. The downside is that Samsung phones can still ship with a large number of preinstalled apps, so cleanup can take time.

  • Yes. The phone auto-unlocks after 60 days, so it can be used on another carrier after that period. The physical SIM or eSIM can then be moved to a different device if needed.

Are Samsung phones still riddled with bloatware and 3rd party apps that you can't uninstall?
You can use ADB AppControl + windows PC to make any changes over any installed apps on phone. Just install software and follow instructions step by step.
For example you can block 2 packages to prevent phone (not apps) update.

Once this order is delivered, anyone know if there is a time to activate the service?

I use FF on Android. Having access to the FF extension store is great, but it appears that Google has explicitly gone out of its way to block PIP on Android, so none of the extensions that explicitly support it or other YT workarounds seem to be working anymore.NewPipe and YTVanced don't appear to be in F-Droid. I've tried Tubular, but it's not seamless.
you are aware of all that stuff but not Revanced?

Once the phone is activated, can we move the sim to another phone and the sim HAS to be in this phone for it to become unlocked after 60 days?

I am getting an error when placing an order and a message saying to try again later. Is anyone else able to order it?

Same error here with PayPal and credit cards. I had to call in and they still had errors. The agent was very patient and tried again with a different credit card and it finally went through

Personally i had bad experience with mint network. Whenever i was inside a store like costco or walmart the signal goes to 0. I have never seen signal at full strength. Later we moved one line to US mobile and other line to Visible. Both are lot better than mint.

Seems like a solid deal. I've had mint for a couple years now in the Chicago area and never have any problems
Spectrum deal is 500% better than this deal. I got $100 for Samsung S25 last February and 1 year free of unlimited Mobile line. I got 7 of S25 for $100 each. All from Spectrum. No bs at all. Ton of people from SD got this deal. Too bad Spectrum deal is over, but free unlimited Mobile line is not over.

Yup. $530 and $590 are s25, not s25+.
