This bundle pairs a Galaxy S25 with a year of Mint service, and the strongest draw is the low effective price for a flagship phone plus unlimited plan. The S25 is described as fast, smooth, light, and strong on battery and camera performance, with Samsung features and long software support adding appeal. Mint is tied to T Mobile and works well in some areas, including Chicago and rural Missouri, with hotspot data recently raised to 20GB. The main cautions are order processing errors, possible new customer and port in restrictions, and spotty Mint reception in crowded stores. A solid value if Mint coverage fits your area.

Common Questions (5)

  • Mint runs on the T-Mobile network, and some users report trouble-free service in places like Chicago and rural Missouri. Others report weak or dropping signal in crowded stores like Costco and Walmart, so local coverage can vary.

  • Yes. After the S25 unlocks, the Mint SIM can be moved to another phone, and the unlocked Samsung can be used with another carrier such as Google Fi. For the US S25, dual SIM means one physical SIM plus one eSIM.

  • A port-in is not clearly required on the deal page, but the promo appears to depend on being treated as a new customer. If your number is already in Mint's system, the free year can be voided and the phone may be back-charged.

  • Most preinstalled Samsung apps can be uninstalled or disabled, and tools like Canta, Shizuku, or ADB AppControl can remove more apps without root. The downside is that Samsung phones can still ship with a large number of preinstalled apps, so cleanup can take time.

  • Yes. The phone auto-unlocks after 60 days, so it can be used on another carrier after that period. The physical SIM or eSIM can then be moved to a different device if needed.

I think I read you need to be away from mint for 90 days to be considered a new customer again

Nope. In January I ported out to US Mobile and back into Mint the same day. Going to do the same in a couple weeks with the Pixel 10 Pro that I just got in a similar deal.

Spectrum deal is 500% better than this deal. I got $100 for Samsung S25 last February and 1 year free of unlimited Mobile line. I got 7 of S25 for $100 each. All from Spectrum. No bs at all. Ton of people from SD got this deal. Too bad Spectrum deal is over, but free unlimited Mobile line is not over.
Interesting. Thats a crazy deal

Once the phone is activated, can we move the sim to another phone and the sim HAS to be in this phone for it to become unlocked after 60 days?
Did you ever find this out? I have family member that needs service and another that needs a phone.

Nope. Doesn't feel like the community of prepaid phones actually like to answer/help. I have activated Pixel 10 Pro XL today and am with Mint on chat for almost an hour to figure this out. Really frustrating

Updated CSRep Response [After I ask to initiate Return]
============================================
I apologize for the confusion, the device is still eligible for the 60 days unlock since the esim have now activated

You can wait for the 60 days for teh device to unlock. Since the esim have been activated already with your device.

Thanks for the details. Yes, you can contact us again after 60- days to confirm the status of your device unlock.

You can move the esim in a different device now.

Yes, you can move the esim into another phone and your Pixel 10 Pro will still be unlocked after 60 days.

(Original Response) The CSRep finally understood my question and this is the response:
===================================================

I understand you have a question about transferring the esim you have activated in the Pixel 10 Pro XL into the a new device you will be giving to your neice and inquiring if your Pixel 10 Pro XL can still be unlock. I am here to help.

It is possible to transfer the esim to another device.
You will need to get a new number for your Pixel 10 Pro XL to unlock within 60 days since the device should have an active plan. You will need to get a new number and a new plan.

i hope I have answered your questions.

Than this deal is PERFECT for you. See, for $530, you get a phone AND a full year of phone service. So if you value the year plan at over $30, than this deal is for you!
He capped his yearly service at $29.99. It's a no-go for him.

I read the title as S25+ and got super excited =\
Lol, 4 pages in and it wasn't until I see your comment that I realized that this was the S25. Not the +. I just signed up for the free S25 plus deals via Verizon for 4 phones for 3 years. I am hoping T-mo will have another promo to pay off your phones when you switch within that time, but I got three S25+ phones, an S25 Ultra, with two of the phones being on the welcome plan, the other two on the plus plan (for hotspot reasons) and I am ending up with taxes and BS at $156/mo. Im good with that either way.
