The lowest I've seen for the S25 on Amazon was $650, so this is a great deal with a free 1-year plan if you're OK with Mint.

Yes they still have a ton of pre installed apps. But yes you can uninstall most and disable the Samsung ones which they deem you can't uninstall.

Honestly if you haven't owned Samsung in a very long time you're only hurting yourself. Samsung has become the default best rounded flagship phone for Android. They have very little software bugs, very reliable hardware, very long software support, frequent security updates, and a robust ecosystem of supporting accessories.

This bundle pairs a Galaxy S25 with a year of Mint service, and the strongest draw is the low effective price for a flagship phone plus unlimited plan. The S25 is described as fast, smooth, light, and strong on battery and camera performance, with Samsung features and long software support adding appeal. Mint is tied to T Mobile and works well in some areas, including Chicago and rural Missouri, with hotspot data recently raised to 20GB. The main cautions are order processing errors, possible new customer and port in restrictions, and spotty Mint reception in crowded stores. A solid value if Mint coverage fits your area.

  • Mint auto-unlocks the phone after 60 days, which supports later carrier flexibility.

  • Mint runs on the T-Mobile network, which can help coverage expectations for T-Mobile users.

    Mono141

  • The S25 can feel smoother day to day than a Pixel 10, based on a six-month comparison.

    consumerism

  • Samsung One UI features like Routines and Secure Folder can add practical usability beyond basic Android.

    George_P_Burdell

  • Online ordering can fail with PayPal or credit cards, and refunds can follow after long troubleshooting.

    PurpleMitten6516IV2016PurpleMitten6516

  • Mint reception can drop to zero inside crowded stores like Costco and Walmart, which can disrupt everyday connectivity.

    dk922F1_Pro

  • Mint may not treat every purchase as a new-customer deal, and an existing number can void the free year.

    keywesterly

  • Samsung app management can be difficult because ADB AppControl may list hundreds of apps on Samsung devices.

Once the phone is unlocked after 60 days being on the mint network, can I use mint on already unlocked device? And use any international carrier on Samsung?

Good luck ordering. I spent hours yesterday trying to get one to go through and chatting with customer service several times. Finally they had me try PayPal which worked, but then a bit later I got an email that they refunded the order 😆
It's like they don't want my money for some reason
