The store had like 20 copies of this game... it was insane. I didn't think a Target could get that many copies of one game.

You could call the store to check, but that runs the risk of the associates buying out the remaining stock or telling their friends to. You could also ask an associate for a price check in store without going to the register. But you're right; this isn't such a good deal because this game has already been heavily discounted. However, the OP also posted deals on other games that were much better.

The Target app has a scan feature that I've used to scan prices. That said I've made the trip a couple of times before only to find nothing on sale.

The scan feature in the app will show you the online price. You'd have to use one of the scanners around the store for price checks in order to see if it's going for the clearance price.
