A hard drive presents the best option for large amounts of storage space, so please present your face. 😁

Lol. I will buy 960,000 25mb thumb drives before I ever decide to lose my data with a Hard Disk Drive ever again

Regardless of what medium you use, your data is always subject to loss unless you implement some type of backup/redundancy.
Follow the 3-2-1 rule if you value your data.

Agreed. My original point was SSDs are safer for data than HDDs because they are more durable and less prone to mechanical failure. They lack the moving parts that make HDDs vulnerable to damage from drops, shocks, and vibrations.

so you buying all enterprise SSDs now? because 4TB old enterprise ssd is still low capciity and will cost you 300-400

one can build a 400TB server with parity cheaper than SSDs

consumer SSDs are garbage if you write to them daily
HDDS dont run into this issue
