Strangely, it's people like you, who are absolutely obsessing over this non-stop, that I actually would prefer that someone of authority is keeping an eye on. If you are so damn stressed about someone maybe seeing you printing out secret guns, that's a red flag to me. Zero to do with 2nd amendment in my opinion as that's not related anyway. With the mass death our country faces with gun violence I'd prefer weapons to be registered as much as possible.

I'm glad law abiding people registering their guns makes you feel better, but it certainly doesn't stop criminals. Didn't know criminals followed gun laws. It's always been legal to make your own firearms at home without asking the government's permission, and it's the reason we have a country right now. Do it if you want to, or not.

Why'd you swap for a P1S? I own a P1S and was thinking about grabbing one of these as a second machine. Since its direct drive, it can do TPU unlike my P1S. And my P1S cant be updated anymore because if I update, I can no longer use OrcaSlicer. These things made me stay clear of BambuLab for future purchases. At around $250, (The price of a normal AMS) This machine seems like a no-brainer. But why'd you get rid of yours? Maybe im missing something.

Well, I'm relatively new to 3d printing. My girls son has a FF 5m Pro he got a year ago and I helped set it up and have printed two things from it. A couple months ago I decided I wanted to get into it and dive right in because the ad5x for $215 & $254 are no brainers and I grabbed a ad5m off fb for $125 that looked new. Had zero issues out of the actual prints but I had to reenter my WiFi password on the printers more often than I'd want to on the printers and I had the no printers available more often than I liked at my house. I've read that FF downfall is on their software. But we had zero issues from the 5m pro. Long term goal I know I wanted all my printers to be the same brand and knew I would eventually switch to Bambu so I decided to just go ahead and do it now vs later. I didn't want to run two different slicers is the only reason. I still recommend the ad5x because you could buy 2-3 of them for the price of 1 Bambu combo.
