I've learned that if plans dont mention unlimited data, then they are hard capped. This plan only mentions unlimited talk/text.

Yes absolutely. I have done my research. Infimobile is close in terms of price but they don't have free international calling nor do they have free hotspot. Ultra mobile app is also pretty good. If you use a referral, you get $25 and I get $25 for future use.

I started with infimobile but they do not offer any coverage outside the US, even for additional cost, so I'm going with Ultra Mobile

how much hotspot does it have? does it just take away from the allotment of data per month, if i signup with the referral is it only good toward a future use and not off the initial purchase price at checkout

Recovery fee of $16 appears to be the dealbreaker for Ultra. Infimobile doesn't appear to have any such charges other than taxes, which is fine. Anyone got any idea for getting rid of this recovery fee ?

it takes awawy from the allotted data. referral bonus can be used for future renewals or for topup balances.
