It's a terrible time to buy Tool changerd are about to change the entire industry.Creality is working on a tool changer or something that creates less waste like the vortek system.Glad I waited to get a core XY machine.I am not buying anything unless it is able to print at least 5 colors without purging/pooping.Next year we will have a much better idea of what is better for no poop systemsI will wait to see how vorteknfiars against the snap maker U1 and whatever Creality comes out with to compete
Would love to see them give a great deal on the CFS itself. It makes no sense they keep asking $320 for the CFS alone when the entire K2 Pro bundle can be had for $549.
I think the true cost of the CFS should be $200 w the occasional $149 deal. Especially when it doesn't have a heater.
No doubt tool head changers are all coming in '26 and they are offloading stock.
I have a K2 Plus and the added print time and amount of waste makes it almost not worth the hassle of multi color, but one thing I absolutely love about the CFS is the quick loading of another spool or change from one roll to the other without unloading. Call me lazy but it's so convenient - I would buy a 2nd CFS just for that function! To keep 8 colors or types on demand.

I was not aware of this coming down the pike. Thanks for heads up.
For me I rather use multi-filament more for different materials than colors - menaing I's rather print one color for my parts - but maybe switch to a different material on the fly for a different part. Not too much into one part - multi- color thus no pooping.

Yeah, the tool changer systems are nice but $$. Now we have three companies selling various solutions: Bambu, Prusa, snapmaker. Makes sense that Creality is working on one too.
