This is the inverter only. You still need batteries, solar panels, etc.

I understand. And I forgot this isn't UL certified I believe. I'd be getting the batteries separately.

I have ecoworthy 5000w inverter. It was nightmare to use. Setup is hard with semi-useless instructions. Support is a joke. As of today, I still could not connect via Bluetooth or WiFi. Can only use it manually. At $1100, there are a lot of other well known options elsewhere.

Installation (of this inverter) is fairly straight forward and manual is passable. It's fastened to the wall (of non-combustable material) via 4 holes in the back of unit; it does not have a ledge or lip on back to clip onto wall bracket, so use a lift table or 2 friends to lift this in place while you fasten it to wall.
If you planning to get full 12KW output from 48V batteries, it can draw as much as 250A so if you using 100Ah rack batteries you need 3 batteries per inverter (via a bus bar). I am connecting mine to Eco-Worthy's 48V 280Ah batteries which in theory I just need 1 battery per inverter via a 4/0 wire that can carry 250A, but it will drain quickly, and E-W handicaps this 280Ah battery with 200A connectors, 2 AWG wires and 200 Amp BMS (no way I can connect a 4/0 wire to it). So I will need to connect 2 of these 280Ah batteries per inverter also via a bus bar.
Only other notable issue is tightness of connecting 6 AWG wires to the AC OUT. I am using high quality flexible SOOW copper wires but Romex might be too stiff and unyielding to fit into terminal block and tight spaces.
If all these sounds overwhelming, it is, and each connection need to be torque'd to spec, every wire and connection part needs to be high quality, and you still need high quality and not cheap breakers/fuses to protect wires and components.
So if I did not need 24KW (I am doing 2 of these inverters) and just need 12KW, I would look hard at 2x Anker F3800 with Smart Home Panel which can do 12KW and 240V, or the new Delta Pro Ultra X which can do 12/24/36KW but gets pricey.

It's not that hard to install it but the learning curve is steep in order to do it safely. If you have to ask this question, I'd suggest hiring an electrician.

If you have to ask this question, you should probably not do it and consult an expert.

So this inverter can power a 240 heat pump? I have 16 12v 280ah batteries from them that I setup up to be 48v systems. Currently just running them with a few small 120v heaters

I haven't been able to find the same products on their site, for manuals etc. Some of the listings have the manuals embedded as images, which is... challenging to deal with.

They seem pretty responsive on the diysolar forum, did you ask for help anywhere else? Almost all of them are rebranded SNRE inverters, and I think this one here is a rebranded Anenji

Something to note about the coupon code: I had trouble applying the same coupon code twice to the same kind of listing. I was able to apply it to an auction for a 5kw + battery, and another time to a pair of their rack batteries. But when I tried to get a second 5kw + battery, it would not let me apply the code on auction checkout. I'm in the process of cancelling that order (after they told me they couldn't apply the code for me), and I'll just let my parents order on their own from thier ebay account, and use the code.

Looks like a rebrand of this SNRE based Anenji: https://diysolarforum.com/threads...00.106490/

They need to just put product numbers on their listings and in the images! Frustrating for sure, when products are thousands of dollars. It took a little sleuthing but I eventually found the eco-worthy and SNRE manuals for a few different models, mostly off forums and facebook groups into DIY solar setups, aliexpress links, etc. The things we do for a discount product 😅
