Have never seen 200W or 300W equivalents before. These must light up rooms brighter than the sun..

How are they all of a sudden getting 3000 lumen bulbs when it seems the highest I've seen before this is at least half that?

I don't know - theoretical limit is 250-350 lumens per watt

I tried a couple of the 300w and going to get a few more. Not sure the performance supports the stated specs, but they're noticeably brighter than the 100w's I've been using, and the soft white is pretty pleasing for being so bright.
