This is a very good deal. Realistically if you are going to do a home sim, you will need the pro package (200 a year and GSPro 250 a year). For comparison, Foresight Gold plus GSPro would be $500 + $250. I have heard great things about this unit (I have the GC3 from Foresight). It is crazy that you can now build a great sim for close to 5K out the door with this route (Hitting Mat, Screen, Projector, PC).

Sorry, no idea. GS Pro is excellent as you can download popular courses for free. Over the past year they have added some great practice features. The 60 shot combine is nice, and I really like the dynamic hole builder built in to the range. I don't play a ton of sim golf, mostly hit on range and play short courses as warmup.

Really is going to depend on what you what you are going to do. I have had my sim setup for about 3 years now, and mostly do practice work and short courses with the kids. Playing Augusta or something is cool, but I don't really ever do it after the novelty wears off.
