Had my eye on the DeWalt leaf blower for a while but the price never dropped below $170 (tool only). This Home Depot BF deal is about $20 more than the usual list but now includes tool and 5 Ah & 2 Ah and charger.

*DeWalt claims up to 87 minutes of use on lowest power setting with DCB205 battery. However on max power, you are looking at around 15 minutes of use with the 5 Ah battery.

Can confirm that the 5ah battery lasts about 15 minutes at full power. Not sure why they bundled a 2ah battery with this blower. It would die in about 5 minutes.

Yes, the 2aH is pretty useless for this leaf blower. Not only does it last a short amount of time, compared to the 5aH, but the blower will be weaker.

Waiting for the 60V versions to go on sale. Wet leaves chew up the batteries!

Thank you. Ordered the same for an In-Store pickup. Pickup will be ready by the 20th. Enough time to wait for a better deal.

I have this blower. I use the thumb trigger lock to set a lower speed while I blow so I can release the trigger and agitate gravel while blowing at low speed then ramp up to get it out of/away from the gravel... without blowing my gravel away. The electronic method for the 60V blower wouldn't work nearly as well for getting straw and pollen cones out of the gravel at my workshop doorway.
