If you need a checked bag, it would cost less to get the Alaska Visa which cost $95 annually and gives you a free check bag. If you have to pay for check bags, it is $150 each way. If you are traveling with other people and pay for all the tickets with the CC, they will get free checked bags as well.

This route will be flown with a 787-9.

not sure if your local costco still have this but they sell alaska airlines $500 gift card for $450. you might want to call and ask them to look this up. some may not have it on display anymore but still have it in merchandise pick up.
