RedPocket on
eBay [ebay.com] has a 360-day Prepaid Plan with unlimited Everything for $144 (which is $12/month). This has 5GB of high-speed data every 30 days for GSMA, and 3gb if you're have gsmt or cdma.
Unlimited talk and text. If you use up the high-speed data, you get unlimited data at up to 2gb speeds until your balance renews the next month.
I was just looking at plans a day or two ago, and the 3gb plan was $144 for GSMA, so I'm glad I waited.
Note this plan was as low as $120 late last December (though it was also charging $6 shipping, which this deal does not). BUT my RedPocket plan expires in early December and I'll need something before then (and there's no guarantee it will come back around at $120, though it could).

Personally, if you aren't in a rush. WAIT til Black Friday, you may see it cheaper then. You have 90 days from the day you buy to redeem the code. then it is worthless after.
Pay $36 more and get Mint mobile's unlimited plan for $180

And do esim free trials when I find them.
When the inevitable "this plan is better on this carrier" posts come along, remember that not everything is an apples-to-apples comparison. I strongly recommend using a site like prepaidcompare.net to tailor the search engine to YOUR needs. This might include a specific network, whether you want (or don't want) a multi-month plan or autopay discounts, is hotspotting a deal breaker, and so on.
Red Pocket has it's problems, admittedly. Customer Service has never been a strength (to put it mildly), and their discounting scheme last Black Friday was a debacle. But if you want reliable, cheap, dependable service and don't have a need to call Omar for help, it's hard to beat their price.
From PrepaidCompare.net, right now.... on AT&T, with 5GB of data and Hotspot, RedPocket via eBay is the most affordable at $12/month. Lyca is $13.75 (but with 8GB), Unreal and US Mobile are $15.00. If you switch from AT&T to T-mobile, Tello is $11.00 for 5GB. If you drop to 3GB, Red Pocket is $10.00 but Roamless is $7.35... but they come with no minutes or texts, their plans are data only.
It's vital to compare apples to apples. So while Helium and Mint and Infinimobile and others mentioned in this thread ARE viable options, be certain that you pick the provider that fits your specifc scenario, and use a tool like the website I've mentioned to help you decide what YOU need, and to find the least expensive prepaid option that satisfies that need.
/soapbox.
Unlimited talk & text. 5GB (GSMA) or 3GB (CDMA) of high speed data each month and then data speed is slowed down after that is used up.
Existing customers can purchase this and then enter the code within 90 days.

That said, I'm waiting for BF or maybe even cybermonday to see if there's a better price. I'm happy with this cost, but if there's a better deal in a few days I'd take that. But I've got to renew on Dec. 5, and I want to make sure I get my code in plenty of time. They aren't always on the ball with getting that code to me, I don't want to cut it close. I could always pay for a month plan and wait to see what deals come, but I'm good with this price if BF can't offer better.
