Dont think so I ordered before and it would not let me use the coupon but when I switched the IP it went through. I had the same issue with Metro phone deal
Dod you think it will work if you use a cell phone to order will get you banned, not tied to your home wifi of course.

In my experience the phone only has to be activated, and unlocks 60 days after activation. It does not have to have 60 days of activation, just 60 days AFTER activation.
When was the last time you tried? The terms were changed earlier this year to 60 days of service.

We will see. Me and a neighbor are going for the 2-pack.

If it unlocks, it unlocks.

If it doesn't unlock, it will be just another hanger queen. I already have a shoebox full of old phones.

The new official unlock policy has 2 requirements. 1. 60 days of paid service added to a line that is on the phone you want unlocked. At time of activation or anytime after if moving an existing line to the new phone. 2. The phone you want unlocked needs to have been on the TracFone network for a minimum of 60 days. They do not have to happen congruently. You could buy a phone with no service plan. Transfer your existing line and the phone would never unlock no matter how long you used it on TracFone until 60 days of added service is paid for. Service bundled with phones counts as paid service. Reversely you could activate a new locked phone with the bundled service then move your line to a different phone before 60 days and your phone will not unlock. The way in which you reach both requirements does not matter. You could use 15 different phone numbers on the locked phone as long as at some point 60 days of new service was added onto the line that was active on the locked phone and the combined days that the phone had an active line totals over 60

Looks like it shipped and I got a tracking number so it seems switching the IP worked
There seems to be no rhyme or reason why they cancel orders. I had two orders going to the same address with different (previously unused) credit cards, placed from the same IP (on different emails/browsers) and they shipped. Then another order sent to a DIFFERENT address, from a different IP, from a new email got canceled - because the billing address on the new credit card matched a previous account.

Me thinks it's manual, and it depends on the mood of the person doing the verification.

Use a different address and a different email & maybe credit card.

For address, if you live in a house, just tag with a different APARTMENT NUMBER.
There are plenty of places where you can get a free email account.
Use a virtual CC number, or buy a pre-loaded Visa card from Dollar Tree.
Yeah thanks, but that wasn't the question asked.

And I had an order canceled because the address on the credit card (not order) matched an existing account. Everything else was different.

It comes with 1 yr of service. you don't have to pay anything else, but you do have to keep it active for 60 days to unlock, can't harvest the plan to another phone prior to that 60 days
How do you harvest a plan to another phone? I asked a while back and they said you can't do it anymore.

If I activate this to another line it should add the included time, but then I don't think it'll unlock in 60 days.

it's been awhile since i've done it, but I believe it still works.

you must keep the phone on the original service for 60 days, if you want it to unlock. then you can harvest the remainder of the plan using the method above.

The thing is, spending a few dollars more for esim will allow you to take advantage of lots of free data plans like helium and instabridge and whatever else the future offers, so esim is pretty valuable. Especially if your kid leaves the phone somewhere, you can track it down.
