I try to only buy unlocked phones to avoid all the unlocking hassle. These lasted about 5 minutes at this price and already sold out.

does anyone know if this one would be unlocked? I know the title here says it, but the eBay page doesn't mention it that I can find.

I know VIP outlets sells WM overstock / deadstock so just wanted to see if this was actually locked to ATT / tracphone/ etc.

For sure. I personally hate Apple for that reason, specifically because they purposefully slow down older devices and force a repurchase cycle. I've kept all of the females in my family on iPhones for over a decade now and it's so obvious. I'll get my mom and grandmother a current-gen iPhone and within 1.5 years it's lagging almost shockingly. I had a half-brother on an iPad that had barely been used, and simply resetting it to clear his data off when he gave it back slowed it down dramatically relative to how it was operating right beforehand

Still rocking my SE3 as a backup phone. Love the phone but battery sucks. Always has. That's the weak spot on the SE varieties. Otherwise it's a solid phone and I love the small compact form factor.

I'm happy to say that I haven't had the lagging problem after having iPhones for about the last 10 years. I generally stay a couple of years behind the latest releases for financial reasons. My SE3 is as fast as new after a year and a half in service. I might add that my iPhones have been ultra reliable across the board. The occasional battery replacement is about it. My current battery is at 91% life; I'll probably replace it at mid 80s or so.

Bought this exact like new daily driver iphone in 2023 from same seller. It held at 98% in Jan 2023. Now 77%. Not bad for 3.5 years!

Looks like we are getting the same decline rate, about 1% every 2 months. In the past I've noticed that below 80%, cold weather performance gets tricky and time between charges is noticeably shorter. Aftermarket batteries have gotten a lot better, and often have more capacity than the OEM Apple battery.
