Yes. If both devices are eSIM compatible, you can move the eSIM between them. Here's how:Go to Manage my SIM. Sign in, if asked.Choose Switch to change devices if needed.Scroll to and select Switch devices, then Get started.Follow the prompts to complete your transfer.

I ordered my phone online with AT&T. I haven't received the phone yet. Can i paid off it now via my online account?
I did the same and received an email from AT&T to activate my account once the phone is shipped. Now I can access my account and pay off the phone. But I have the idea to pay it off and cancel the line before the phone arrives. I think it would be unlocked. I tried this last year with AT&T through Best Buy, and it worked. But I do not know if the phone from AT&T will come locked right out of the box. I need some advice on that.

To transfer eSIM to android, you'll have to do the transfer through ATT account online. Once transferred, you can try the unlock request.

i just got my phone and activated it and paid off online. Today is my 3rd day. Can i start doing eSIM swap now and try to cancel service today? or do i have to wait for tomorrow to do eSIM Swap. I think if I cancel AT&T service tomorrow (day 4) I need to pay one full month of service fee.

Yes you can do the eSIM swap but you perhaps need to wait until midnight for the unlock portal to sync the payoff status. Note that with ATT you can void the activation fee instantly from bill by clicking on "Don't recognize this fee" on the bill even after 3 days. Also you will only be charged prorated days if you cancel within 14 days. Of course ATT will perhaps send a full bill but you can get rid most of it.

DO NOT cancel the account before you can verify that the phone is unlocked. These phones are flex locked meaning it gets locked to the carrier once you activate it on that carrier first so you need to have ATT unlock it. See my pinned post about the SIM swap if the straightforward unlock request from your account does not work.

Did this generate new esim when you swapped using ATT portal? Sim swap pinned instructions mentioned to avoid ATT involvement so was trying to avoid ATT portal. Also, after swapping through ATT portal did you request unlock your ATT account or from incognito mode as mentioned in instructions?

The unlock instruction is always incognito and using credentials not related to ATT. I think if you follow the switching eSIM instructions from ATT it should not provision a new SIM but this is something I am not 100 percent sure.

its almost been 48 hours since I paid off my phone. It says unlock eligible but still unable to unlock from portal. so was also planning to check with CS to directly unlock as another option as SIM swap is not easily working for iphone to android

Did you try switching it from ATT account? You should ask CS first before doing that. As the phone is paid off they may unlock it for you.

after you paid off, Unlock Eligible will show in your account, don't click that icon
After esim swap, make sure you don't see new iphone listed in your account. you need to refresh browser few times and make call/text few times until old unlocked phon shows there.
you need to submit unlock here https://www.att.com/deviceunlock/unlockstep1
Do you have a mobile number from AT&T? Select NO

Hey guys I ordered last Friday when the sale started. It shipped the next morning via OnTrac from LA. I don't see an update on the website since Saturday. Rep from OnTrac just says it's moving through warehouses but is it normal not to have any updates for 3 days straight? First time having something delivered by OnTrac so a little nervous. Thanks in advance.

I got the AT&T 16 pro as an upgrade online but does anyone know if it's possible to use a new phone number because my old one has so much spam? If so, what are the proper procedures for my 13 pro which has a sim card. Thanks

Forgive me if this has been discussed already, but what's the best way to cancel the line with Verizon? I ordered online, got the phone last night and activated it. I paid off the device this morning so now I just need to cancel. I don't have any other lines with Verizon, so should I just cancel the whole account? Or is it better to port it out?

eSIM Swap was not going very smoothly for me. But any way I completed this step and right now my online at&t account showing my old iphone (unlocked) associated with my phone number. I don't see new iphone listed in your account. i also made several call and text message using the old unlock phone and everything seems right. Can i submit unlock request now?
