IMO These prices would be okay for steelbooks or maybe collector editions but there is no reason that a regular 4K distribution should cost more than $20.

If it's from an independent label (Arrow Video, the Criterion Collection, Shout! Factory, Kino Lorber, etc.), MSRP is $50, $75, sometimes even up to $99 for a 4K disc that may or may not contain extra goodies. It's only during these 50% off sales that one can save money.

"Example Deals" or "All the Deals"? Is there a link to all the titles? I can never get Amazon search to work right 😅

I would agree, especially if you go by the actual quality of the transfer.

Poseidon is a good example.
Too often PQ isn't reference & no AQ upgrade! Paying $25+ for half an upgrade is tough imo.
Especially when good players can upscale very well.

Try this link https://www.amazon.com/s?k=4k+uhd...nb_sb_noss
It's not 100% accurate because it still shows titles from other labels but it's a good start!

Ever since Best Buy stopped selling 4K, these prices have been nuts, sure there are sales sometimes, but yeah, eff this, not even Steelbook.

Man, I.ust have got one of the last available copies of that. They'll probably reprint a regular edition, or maybe even do a second LE run for Xmas.

Some of the Arrow versions, and other boutique companies, of these have alternate cuts of the movies never before seen and behind the scenes, and other stuff. I am not justifying the price, I only buy them when they are half off. I know The Cell release has never before scene cuts. Dirty Work directly from Vinegar Syndrome has a completely different movie that was orignally shown to test audiences that didn't do well, and they recut it to include that footage again. My point is, some of these prices might be justified for the extras but sometimes they just have the basic movie on them.

Regular price for most of these. Nobody pays $50 for a single UHD Blu-Ray movie, and most of these are worth about $15.

I usually aim for $15 or less on my 4k disc purchases, some movies don't get there though
