Just received this exact receiver from Expo, bought the open box option and applied the EXPO10 discount code, it was $50 better than the deal posted here but this deal is still really good. Can't say it was really an open box model, seemed to be factory sealed.

Several have also stated receiving a unit!

If you can wait, the other advantage is you retain the original manufacturer warranty with OB.

Out of curiosity, did you run into a hissing problem from this unit?

It look like this is how it goes with Expo. Many buyers reported they received seal NIB for different RZ30 slickdeals. Even if it is OB and manufacturer warranty is retained then it should be fine.

Didn't someone say the warranty was only 1 year for open box (or was that Adorama)?

"All Certified Refurbished products come with one year manufacturer warranty."

No that only applies to certified refurbished.
They're open box states:
"Parts and Labor Manufacturer Warranty."

FYI their open box is now the same price.
