Is it realistic to get better Yamaha deals on Black Friday? A used secondary screen Yamaha receiver broke last summer. I'm sick of not using my 3.1 speakers. People are having less fun watching tv and playing videogames on it.
For comparison, I bought a Yamaha Aventage receiver for $370 in 2018. It is used in the main system of 7.1. Love how it works/simplicity especially on a Klipsch center channel. I never switched from Yamaha because they never emit too much heat even in summers.

Not sure about pricing for black Friday, but I will recommend having multiple Yamaha receivers for Musiccast. It allows for multi-room audio. I have 4 Yamaha receivers with 6 distinct zones and 24 speakers throughout the house and Musiccast is fantastic! For parties, we can have the same music in every room. We can play either music or whatever movie is on in the living room in the kitchen depending on what people prefer. Normally those kinds of platforms are throwaway projects, but Yamaha has done a good job. A few hiccups here or there but overall great experience.

Crazy to think i got the tsr700 from costco for 300 years ago by looking at slickdeals, and now this 5.1 is selling 100 dollars more. And be careful about the hdmi 2.1 it might only be 28gbps
