you can buy bronze plan - $35 on the last day from walmart.com and select Direct Top Up option and provide phone number.
https://www.walmart.com/ip/Straig...om=/search

Straight Talk has a "Reserve" system:

you can add a plan to your account before your current service ends. Straight Talk Extras+1
Plans you add to the Reserve are automatically applied on your Service End Date.

What Happens If You "Activate Now" Instead of Reserving

If you choose to not reserve but instead apply the new plan immediately, Straight Talk warns: you will lose any remaining days on your current plan.

Scenario ("$55 plan ends Dec 17, 2025; you want to add a $35 plan early for the second month")

If you add the $35 plan now and put it in Reserve, it will not start immediately. Instead, it will wait and begin on Dec 17, 2025, when your current $55 plan ends.
It won't overlap or "stack" service days unless you choose to activate the plan immediately (which is risky because you'll lose remaining days).

I went to 2 stores and both had phones but no one to activate. Does anyone know if I can purchase online and get the $10 plan for 2 months and then it will unlock ? It will come out to about 340 total. In store looks like it's about 300 if you downgrade plan and I don't want to go back to the store.

Got the last one at the Walmart store. Came out to be $289 out the door. They don't seem to know about the trick to unlocking it later.
Same here. Mine was $289.05. No trick. You just need 60 days of continuous service after activation.

I'm the one that posted about the $10 plan because I had used it last year when I bought a Moto Razr from them. I'm not really sure they still offer it regardless of what the rep said. Wlould not be the frist time a Verizon Value Brand rep said something that wasn't true. When I used it last year it was an add on that I used for the second month. It could not be used for activation. The one bought this time comes out to a total of $324.93, $289.05 for the intial purchase and set up including a $55 plan, and one month of the $35 plan ($34 w/auto pay=$35.88 with tax/fees) for one month. Apple charges $651.41 out the door for the same phone.

I went ahead and ordered it online for 299. I can activate it with the $35 bronze plan. I can then switch to the $10 plan after the first month. I called straight talk and that is what they told me. it's not worth me driving to Walmart and waiting to save another $60. I also might get 15% cash back.

We can cancel straight talk after 60 days.. no early termination right?
Yes, you can also cancel Straight talk after walking out the door at Walmart. Straight talk doesn't have any way to charge you for canceling.

Picked it up online for $249 with $120 of 3 months of Silver Unlimited. I need the unlimited plan anyway, so not worth messing with the store to save $50. Chase with $15 CB, too.

OP, which chase card you used to get CB at walmart?

That's probably about $70 more than I paid with the taxes and fees in the store plus the extra month of Bronze. And you get the CB. Not a bad deal considering that you avoided the store. .

Used to work but think Verizon blocked it. Can only use TW after the phone is unlocked in 60 days.
This did not work for me either. It looks like the 2nd eSIM is disabled I guess until the phone is unlocked.
