you can buy bronze plan - $35 on the last day from walmart.com and select Direct Top Up option and provide phone number.
https://www.walmart.com/ip/Straig...om=/search

Straight Talk has a "Reserve" system:

you can add a plan to your account before your current service ends. Straight Talk Extras+1
Plans you add to the Reserve are automatically applied on your Service End Date.

What Happens If You "Activate Now" Instead of Reserving

If you choose to not reserve but instead apply the new plan immediately, Straight Talk warns: you will lose any remaining days on your current plan.

Scenario ("$55 plan ends Dec 17, 2025; you want to add a $35 plan early for the second month")

If you add the $35 plan now and put it in Reserve, it will not start immediately. Instead, it will wait and begin on Dec 17, 2025, when your current $55 plan ends.
It won't overlap or "stack" service days unless you choose to activate the plan immediately (which is risky because you'll lose remaining days).

I went to my closest store that is a super center and they have the phones but they do not have a person who activates them so you can't get the deal. I called another store near me and they said the same thing no one is there that can activate it. anyone else have the same problem? What am I supposed to do to get this deal? It's like they don't actually want to sell them.
Same problem here

Just bought mine at a Walmart in Nebraska for ~$275 with taxes and 1st month of service.
Rep asked me who was my current provider and how much I pay.
Infimobile for ~$100/year. LOL. Yup, I'm gone when the phone unlocks.

Any Walmart employee that knows how to use the WARP at the cash register at the electronic dept can check out for you. Make sure they scan the activation barcode on the box before you pay, else the phone won't activate. You don't have to wait for those black-shirt, third-party mobile employees to come to work to check out the phone for you unless it's a postpaid phone where they have log in and key in their number.

Quote from reddogva99 : I went to 2 stores and both had phones but no one to activate. Does anyone know if I can purchase online and get the $10 plan for 2 months and then it will unlock ? It will come out to about 340 total. In store looks like it's about 300 if you downgrade plan and I don't want to go back to the store. I went ahead and ordered it online for 299. I can activate it with the $35 bronze plan. I can then switch to the $10 plan after the first month. I called straight talk and that is what they told me. it's not worth me driving to Walmart and waiting to save another $60. I also might get 15% cash back.
I purchased it online as well. Do you know if I can get the $10 plan for both first and second month ?

Meh that's 10/15gb plan. Horrible for power users that aren't WFH. No unlimited tether, 5guw, etc. It's good for basic users that don't do anything aside I guess.

I just chatted with them regarding this option and this is what I was told...

Me: Someone told me that you had a "stay connected" plan that was $10 for statement period.
John – 4:40 PM: I see. We suggest adding a monthly plan since the $10 plan only includes 7 days of service. Our cheapest monthly plan is the $35 plan.
Anyone else have better luck?

Update: I reached Straight Talk's Port-in Department at 800-327-2077 and they solved my problem in 15 minutes flat. I ported in my number and lived happily ever after. The guy I talked to today knew his stuff. The people I talked to yesterday knew nothing. I purchased one today for $284.93 total ($199 for the phone; $55 for the Gold Unlimited plan and $30.93 in taxes on the full price of the phone and plan). All of the local Walmarts had them in stock. I called the nearest Walmart before I left to confirm they had a Straight Talk Wireless representative on-site who could process the order. I arrived and explained I wanted the $199 iPhone deal with a Straight Talk Wireless plan. He seemed to be generally aware of the special, but not totally familiar with all of the details. I had the website up on my phone in case he had questions. Buying the phone was the easiest part. Porting my phone number in from Visible Wireless has been a near total disaster. First, I was unable to activate the phone via the Straight Talk website and was forced to call their customer support line. I've read this situation commonly occurs when the sales person doesn't correctly scan all of the necessary bar codes on the box. Some people report they've had to return to Walmart to get in rescanned. The customer support person was able to activate the phone, but failed miserably to port my number over. She had me on the phone for nearly 90 minutes and it was obvious she didn't know what she was doing. I gave her my phone number and e-mail address and didn't receive any of the verification codes she claimed she sent me. The phone was activated and assigned a phone number other than the one I was trying to port in. I called back to straighten it out and was disconnected from the next person I talked to after about 2 minutes. The third person I talked to transferred me to a department that didn't handle porting issues. The fourth person I dealt with seemed knowledgeable about the process. I was on the phone with her for about 30 minutes. The porting process failed because the Visible account number I provided wasn't correct, even though it's exactly the same account number Visible provided me when I requested the information to port out. The customer service rep said she couldn't find Visible in their database of cell phone providers. She ended up selecting Verizon to advance the porting process. After the information I provided didn't work, she told me I'd have to call back tomorrow morning and talk to somebodyin the porting department. I "locked" my phone number at Visible and will generate a fresh port PIN tomorrow to try it again. The whole thing has discouraged me from ever trying this sort of thing again. The process has been terrible and an awful waste of my valuable time. One important note: The call center is obviously located in India or the Philippines. There was fairly significant language barrier that contributed to probably 75% of the problems. We were simply having trouble clearly communicating and the customer service reps were poorly trained.
Hey thank you for posting this port contact number bc I am having to get them to straighten mine all out.

Can confirm the limit of 2 isn't a hard limit. Got 3 in store today, first one was $199 + $55 = $254 plus tax. Had to open the phone and do initial setup to get activation code to create an account. Second phone was $199 + $40 = $239 plus tax. Did not have to open or power on 2nd phone. 3rd phone was $199 + $25 = $224 plus tax. Also did not have to open or power on 3rd phone. All 3 lines with phone numbers show in my new ST account. Total was $717 plus taxes of about $131 just under $850 for all 3, so about $239 each before tax or $283 each after tax.

Hopefully I can do the $10 plan for the second month and keep it under $300.

how does this compare to the Total Wireless 'Free iphone 16e with 3 months of paid service' deal?
do you need to go into a Total Wireless store to purchase the phone/plan in person?

Do I need to open and start the phone in order to activate the ST plan or can it be activated without opening? I plan to gift the phone so prefer to have it unopened.

Some reps are more helpful/knowledgeable than others. It's not an advertised plan and only available as an additional month so try again at end of first month. May only be at TW or TF.

Yes so sucks too. Worse, you need to port a number to TW and give them your ID info as well.

This deal you don't need to do any of that nonsense.

Sorry if this has been asked already, but you need to pay the second month for it to unlock, right?

i think so....i think to get the promo, you need to buy two months of ST service with the phone

then the phone unlocks on the 60th day from activation
