you can buy bronze plan - $35 on the last day from walmart.com and select Direct Top Up option and provide phone number.

Straight Talk has a "Reserve" system:

you can add a plan to your account before your current service ends. Straight Talk Extras+1
Plans you add to the Reserve are automatically applied on your Service End Date.

What Happens If You "Activate Now" Instead of Reserving

If you choose to not reserve but instead apply the new plan immediately, Straight Talk warns: you will lose any remaining days on your current plan.

Scenario ("$55 plan ends Dec 17, 2025; you want to add a $35 plan early for the second month")

If you add the $35 plan now and put it in Reserve, it will not start immediately. Instead, it will wait and begin on Dec 17, 2025, when your current $55 plan ends.
It won't overlap or "stack" service days unless you choose to activate the plan immediately (which is risky because you'll lose remaining days).

Wrong. For that deal, you need to port out a number. So, it is technically not a deal.
Thank you. That is very true. This deal is better. Best way to get new phone on a cheap at the expense of 2 months

That's... really not a dealbreaker bud. But if you want to get only 1 month of service included with your 16e vs 3 months through Total for about the same price, be my guest.

Also requires ID verification. Still it's a better deal.

I mean both deals require you to be in-store anyways. That's way more inconvenient than bringing your ID.

Delusional to say in store is inconvenient. You go to groceries anyways. priorities already limit to online shopping so it a moot point. This deal kick azz lol

The Walmart I go to is very smooth. They seem to know what they are doing unlike many others mentioned in this thread. I was in and out in 20 minutes. The Total store is not nearly as smooth based on the only one I've ever been to. My choice was basically pay $35 more at WM for a smoother transaction vs pay less for the hassle I recall the local Total retailer to be plus having to port and verify ID. I chose WM. To each his own....
