If it same as other straighttalk and Tracfone it is 60days of continuous service

I think you can go for lower plan or refill on second month

Seems like a pretty good deal! I'm wondering if somebody can help me with some questions I have about it:
I see that it's also for $299 online or if you don't do the activation thing, locked to Straight Talk. I already have a few Straight Talk phones for several years in my family; don't really have any complaints. We do the $90 for 3 lines unlimited monthly prepaid card.
I'm looking to replace 2 of those phones, which are aging iPhone XR models. From what I've read, I shouldn't have any problem just buying a phone for $299 and transferring the service from one of those XR models to one of these 16e models? And then it would unlock after a few months of service (not that I would be changing carriers, anyway)? It should be doable online, too, right?
I'm hoping I have my information right. This would make for a wonderful Christmas present for my loved one, and I could also finally upgrade my phone, too. Thanks for any information you may have!

$199 with the purchase of a $55 plan. So it's 254

What about month 2 service cost? So it will be $300+ in total with taxes after 2 months of service. Worth it for an unlocked 16e?

Either way, you're saving greater than $200 vs right up buy at Apple.

I'm surprised this doesn't get much upvotes. This is vastly cheaper than buying brand new from the store and a better value compare to older phone with lesser number
software support. $250.
What gives?

Which paid service plan would suffice?
