Generally speaking I have had very good experience with Makita, however I own far less than I do Milwaukee and Dewalt products just due to chargers etc. On bits I have had great success with all 3 brands but these are precision machined & heat treated for hardening + coated for better and longer lasting finish so they should stay in better shape longer than many others.
