found this review, which seems thorough and unbiased. Spoiler- they are lukewarm about it. https://www.thesolarlab.com/revie...lfp-review

I guess ideally I would have multiple of these things in various sizes. I use them so rarely that a 2k was the sweet spot for me. I use it for car camping more than anything and it is nice keeping it topped off while driving place to place. Using the barrel port that the 12v charger uses is pointless it maybe gets 10w sometimes.
That sounds like a faulty 12v input. It specifically says it can handle 100watts at the car port input. Are you talking about the 12-18v barrel input or the actual car port input? It can take 100 watts at each one independently so 200 watts total at 12 volts if you use both at the same time with the right adaptors and the 12v outlet on you car can actually output 200 watts. Most cannot. They are typically fused at 10amps which would provide 120watts max.

I'm just saying, it sounds like you have a faulty device. it charging at 10w its obviously not what its supposed to charge at. Check out the diagram i added to my last reply. I got it from official pecron website for this unit. It clearly shows it has 2 12v inputs that can handle 100 watts of input each for 200 watts total.

Whats the size of your Jackery? Charging a smaller capacity device with USB-C makes a lot more sense than charging a large 2KwH capacity power station.

Garbage brand. Bluetti has the best parts, build, and warranty.

Thanks for that link. I stopped when I got to this:
"The E2400 comes with a 700W proprietary solar input plug that only works with Pecron solar panels"
Pecron solar panels have mc4 plugs on them. I have both an older 200watt pecron solar panel and the newer style as well. They both use mc4 plugs, which is the solar industry standard and what every (unless is basically a toy or very small solar panel) solar panel regardless of brand sold comes with.

If Bluettii quality is so great, explain why you can go to Ebay at any time and purchase Bluetti refurbs? Bluettii normally has hundreds of refurbs to choose from at any given time for sale. These are almost all entirely defective products that was once bought then returned, then fixed to be resold.

I have plenty of solar panels and know all about mc4. I assumed a website devoted to power station reviews would understand the definition of proprietary. But I guess not

PSA - Be weary of AliExpress. I bought a Pecron PowerStation earlier this week from Aliexpress and used Paypal for payment. The charge to my Chase CC was processed as a "cash advance"! Not only did, I not receive my Chase points, nor will I receive my expected 1 yr warranty extension using the CC benefit, but I was also hit with a $15 cash advance fee from Chase. To make matters worse, while FedEx did pickup my item from CA warehouse, it has not moved within FedEx for 4 days! More than likely lost. Even if I get a refund, I'm out the BS cash advance fee! Unethical move on part of Aliexpress.

I just spent 20 minutes on chat with AliExpress customer no-service. They failed to explain how or why this happened or any resolution and kept repeating canned responses that my CC info is safe with them. Avoided any responsibility or resolution other than cancel my order or contact my CC issuer. Any AliExpress value is non-existent with this type of behavior. I now see that Reddit is full of similar "cash advance" complaints against CC's going back 5 years. I will just avoid AliExpress going forward and warn others to just do the same.

I see what you're saying. Ecoflow is one of the better brands as well. And they're selling thousands of refurbs on ebay from every product they have at any given time. 🙄 I've had 3 Delta 2 models with extra batteries. And they've all ran flawless so far.

While no doubt every brand has its defective models. I'm suspecting a lot of these products were never actually defective. Just returned items. Possibly just new and never opened at all. I've heard in the past that companies would dump extra inventory new items as refurbished, factory blemished, open box and so on... this is a way for them to dump inventory and get around price agreements made with various retailers.

Not positive that's what's happening, but just a thought...

Every brand has tons of returns. It's normal with these devices. You have to figure, these power stations are basically 4 to 5 different consumer electronic products all crammed into the smallest housing they can fit everything into. Each one has An AC Inverter, a solar charge controller, an AC charger, A DC charger, Raw LiFepo4 cells, a Battery management system, etc etc.. Point is,... there's a lot of different things than can go wrong with these things and Murphy tells us "Anything that can go wrong will go wrong." I don't think bluetti is special as far as getting more returned than others, maybe they just deal with them differently. Not sure but I am certain that consumer electronics in general has an insane percentage of returns. This is what AI says about returns

Approximately 41% of consumers have returned a non-defective electronic item in the past 12 months, with a significant portion of these returns classified as "No Fault Found" (NFF), meaning the products were functioning properly. This high return rate represents a major challenge for retailers in the consumer electronics sector.
