Got the Q10 a couple of weeks ago for $300. It's my first robot vacuum, but I highly recommend it. It's been fantastic, especially keeping up with my heavily shedding Newfoundland.

How does the mopping work out for you? How often do you have to change pad & water?

I'm pretty impressed with the mopping performance. It's not going to get super stuck on stains but it does well. I have it vacuuming/ mopping about a 500 SQ ft area in my house. It vacuums daily and mops maybe 2-3 times a week. It uses maybe half of the tank worth of water at a time. It stores the clean water in a little tank by the dustbin inside the robot, none in the dock. It doesn't pick up dirty water, just puts down a small amount of clean water during the process so there isn't isn't dirty water to change. I rinse out the mop pad every time before I have it mop since they recommend to have it damp anyway. I didn't really buy it for the mopping feature, I was just fed up vacuuming dog hair 5 times a day. The mopping is a nice bonus.

Can you use these without them connected to your WiFi and phone?

You will need WiFi for setup, once setup you can use the buttons on the device to start the cleaning cycle etc
