It is there. Now a days all the Mini PCs and Laptops use M.2 2230 lSlot for NIC. Where do you think the WI-Fi 6 + BT Card is installed?

The problem is most of them seem to have only 32GB RAM so still not very helpful if you need more, also I don't quite trust these Acemagics and similar brands and not because of spyware but because they don't seem to last more than 3 years as average

Obviously I'm not saying each one of these minipcs won't make it past the 3yr mark but from all the research I have done in the past few months most current and previous owners seem to imply you should consider yourself lucky if you get 3-5 years of use out of these devices. Their main problem seem to be thermals, many of them get quite hot inside and that ends up reducing their lifespan, take a look at amazon reviews of these Acemagic models and new customers sound very happy with them but lots of negative reviews from customers who have had them more than a year or two; USB ports suddenly stop working, machine not simply not booting up anymore etc. And that's another problem, many of these companies claim they have a 2 or 3year warranty but once you actually need them after the first 30 days their only solution is for you to replace BIOS battery, refund you a few dollars, or try make customer pay for shipping charges back to China

The brands the people keep commenting as "reliable" are Beelink, gmktec, and minisforum but I have also seem recent complains about minisforum in the past few months, and also all of these tend to cost a bit more than all the others such as Acemagic

Edit: In the case of Acemagic, you can see it clear on ther website
"For products out of stock, if there are quality problems within one month of use, the full amount will be refunded; if the use period is within six months, 90% of the product price will be refunded; if the use period is within one year, 80% of the product price will be refunded; if the use period is within one and a half years, 70% of the product price will be refunded; if the use period is within two years, 60% of the product price will be refunded; if the use period is within three years, 50% of the product price will be refunded"

And on top of that "After 30 days of receipt: Customers cover the return shipping fee, and Acemagic covers the replacement shipping fee."

If you can find one. Beelink ser8 is a solid minipc. I have it and it runs almost silent, thermals are at or near the highest available. Only downside is no oculink but for my use case it's great.

Oculink is essentially a PCIe connector. This means that you can connect a peripheral as if it was regular desktop. It is used mostly for connecting desktop GPUs to small form factor PCs like these. It means that there is very minimal throughput loss (I've read around 5% compared to direct PCIe connection), especially compared to USB4/Thunderbolt.

I have a GMKtec K8 with a rtx3060 connected through Oculink. The dock that I have is a pretty cheap ($50) off Aliexpress and it has been a great setup. I have the PC mounted under my desk and the GPU on top of my desk. If I am not going to game or code for a while I can put the GPU away.

If you already have a GPU and a PSU then it makes a lot of sense to get it up and running quickly and cheaply. It also allows for a very small footprint for a full GPU.

I replaced my dated laptop with a mini and I just left my laptop cooler under. I'm not sure how well it works but I'm assuming if it helped my laptop it should help the mini 💡
