Dashcams? I know nothing but need one. Please help!
Walmart has 2 from 11/14 to 11/16.

Are they good/ What am I looking for?
Ideally I would like front and rear and to be able to stick them up in teh car myself using mounts that are included as opposed to getting them installed. My car also has a backup camera and I don't want to mess with that at all, so thoughts?

Bought it during $99 special last year. Had another brand before but at cold or hot temps, the sensor would freeze up. This one has been rock solid even in our hot summer (several days of 110 degrees summer). Only thing is the suction cup would come off during high heat but remedied it with 3M tape. Super easy to install..just run the wires behind the dashboard and behind the plastic cover on the front pillar. I have this plugged into the front usb port and it activates when car starts and shuts down when car is turned off. I've tested the footage on my latop (both day time and night videos) and no issues. The wide angle sensor captures adequate driving footage.
One thing I love is if sensor detects any impact, it automatically locks the recording for future use. I've had accidentals (going fast over road humps or sudden stops etc) and that feature kicked in. My son is a new driver and thank god, haven't had the need to look at any footage for insurance to this day. But it's super important to have if u have a 1) newer car 2) new driver.
