Crazy good deal. I do recommend people read the RunRepeat review of these before pulling the trigger based on value alone. They are probably an advanced shoe for most recreational runners unless you are very fast and race-focused. Incredibly lightweight and snappy though.

Crazy good deal. I do recommend people read the RunRepeat review of these before pulling the trigger based on value alone. They are probably an advanced shoe for most recreational runners unless you are very fast and race-focused. Incredibly lightweight and snappy though.

If it's like VP3 then it's made for people with narrow good arch feet. Duck feet like mine are not compatible so I run in AP3/4 (Adios Pro 3/4).

The link doesn't seem to work anymore. It only shows 25% off coupon. I went to Nike and now it comes up as $202.50 + tax. Anybody else having that issue?

I figured it out. This price is only for the mens' version of the Vaporfly 4. I was trying to order a pair for my girlfriend and those are on sale for $202.

A pair of shoes designed for 5k/10k runs and with a very short lifespan ~250km (150miles), basically 20 runs or about that, $6 per run. Good discount but unlikely anyone here needs them, niche product for competitions.

It is a dud. And no, not because it is a bad shoe for what it is, short fast runs, but because it uses the vaporfly name. Once it was conquering every podium of any major, now became a 5k/10k shoe and Streakfly became a mile shoe. It is a shame because not everyone wants heavier Alphas for marathon, I was on the Vapor camp because of its lightweight and thus nimbleness. Nowadays, apart from sizing issues and bad laces, I am an Adidas convert. Not because I like the company but their foams and lineups are much suitable to me.
