Ten bucks less for 2TB less and none of the rigarmarole
Not that bare drive deal, comparing to the activity on the other 24 and 28tb external drive deals. None of these particular seagates should be shucked anyway since they are not good NAS candidates.

The 24tb bare drive is not quite as good of a deal per tb, but it comes with a 2 year warranty instead of 1 year. Too bad 21% of the reviews are 1 star. Making it a difficult choice for me right now.

Newegg is getting these as bare drives and has to repackage them, so I suspect that a lot of the drives are getting damaged in the process of packing and shipping
Keep in mind that these DOAs, as well as the normal early-life failures, are far more likely to get a review on the seller website than anything more than six months in -- good or bad

Can't seem to find the newegg gifcard that gave extra also...maybe that expired.
And no...I don't have MicroCenter like almost everyone for the $224 deal.

Let's see what other retailers have for Black Friday, but as of now, this appears to be the best deal on large HDDs, per: https://pricepergig.com/?minCapacity=20
The Micro Center $224 deal last week didn't really exist - was not in stock at any location.
