This is a good deal for the batteries alone, even better for the tool and charger included...all if you already use the ryobi 18v system

Good deal but I don't need the belt sander. Any other tool or just belt sander?

Sell the batteries on Facebook marketplace for 50-75% of new price if mostly unused.

This seems like a VERY specific tool. I would probably try to make do without, even if I could use it on a particular project.

I could see using this for lawn owner blades, knife sharpening, etc.
It looks like 18" is pretty common side sand paper so getting different grits should be no problem.

Could you return the sander to Home Depot to get the price down just for batteries?

This is bundle...the batteries and sander has a single upc. You might not be able to return partial item.

I bought this sander 2 years ago on a similar deal and still haven't opened it. At the time I read all these glowing reviews with how people used it. ymmv.

Knock off dynafile.

Almost everyone would be better served with a set of traditional files. And I know what you're going to say: "Files are slow and expensive!"

You know what's slow and expensive? Starting the project over because you cooked it with a dynafile.

Anyone know the refund value of the tool? Any refund value for the charger? I just want the batteries.
