I was gonna purchase one of these, but Target folks let me know Sodastreams will very highly likely be going on clearance the first of next year. They were told by PepsiCo they are shifting more of their focus towards their new acquisition Poppi (acquired May 19, 2025) as they continue their healthy overhaul of all assets and brands they own. PepsiCo originally acquired Sodastream in August 2018.

The shoes have gone up in price. I remember getting a pair for $20, now they're $25 before coupon.

Yes. These were Target corporate local market office folks who told me they were informed this by Pepsi and its reps., not local store employees, if that's what you're implying. I've since reached out to Pepsi's folks and they too confirmed PepsiCo has already started making changes like for example their logo in August 2025 to reflect food, drinks and positive impact as a global food and beverage company with a portfolio of 500 brands as well as more changes will be coming to their Pepsi flagship brand at the beginning of 2025. They say they cannot reveal anymore now, but to watch for official news releases.
