stacks well with Target's free $10 gift card deal. Buy 4x $100 eBay gift cards from Target and then get this from Best Buy's eBay store.

Regular price is $439 on Amazon I don't know why it's saying $600 here. You can get it usually around $390 average

Just be sure it's what you want - I always overlook whether it's "Pro" or not when I first see these Crucial Xx SSD deals.

No real point since these appear to use proprietary pcb... no such luck if you are hoping for m.2 nvme https://www.techpowerup.com/revie...ssd/2.html

I have a couple Crucial 2TB and a 4TB SSD. They have been reliable and speedy. The 2TB's are close to 3 years old. Tracking SSD prices, seems like $99 or less for 2TB's is a good deal for a reputable brand.

This one's complicated; no DRAM after the "Pro" X9 and weirdly the X10 performs better than the X10 Pro, especially when you're properly bused at 2x2.

Amazing little drive, I used to swear religiously by the Samsung t9s but they cap off at 4tb. These suckers are even smaller, go to 8tb and seem to sustain their peak performance write rates much longer too. Can't recommend these enough, I just bought a second one myself!

I swear by Samsungs too but I want an 8TB, how's reliability of these in the long term?

Why would "pro" matter here?

Depends on the use. For me, only the Pro has hardware encryption. And the write speed spec is listed for the Pro but not this one that I can find. This one is good for non-private data that gets read frequently, like for running video games. But this one does have higher dust/water resistance and drop ratings than Pro.
