Would this work through glass (pointed outside through a window)?

What was awful about it? Video quality? Alerts?

You can record to sd card but you can't view that recording through the app, you need to plug the SD card into another device. It also breaks up all recorded video into 1 min clips

Without a subscription, the only practical use is for live viewing. The quality is also really poor. But even for live viewing it's pretty barebones

It doesn't even give reliable motion notifications . Effectively useless without a subscription, and completely useless without Internet (whereas most cameras still work via WiFi w/o Internet)

In general this camera is bad if this is compared to Tapo cameras.

I purchased the same deal for a friend. They couldn't use them but I could.

Please explain how you use it?
You need a PAID sub for almost everything.

I only use them to look in. I'm not trying to save clips. I have a dual band router so I could get them to work on my 2.4 band. My friend had a modem supplied by AT&T that doesn't have a separate band.
