Pro tip: Let your current membership expire before you redeem this annual membership. That should pause your monthly payments.

We don't go to the movies a ton. If this could put the monthly payment on pause for 12 months, I'd buy it. But I don't need 24 credits over the next year.

They don't usually pause, but they did have a Lite membership for like $6.50 or so a month, if I remember correctly.

How is $8.83 per movie a deal when the most expensive ticket is $9. We buy gift cards from Costco at 20% off and go when the price is $5.25 which makes the ticket cost $4.20. I was looking for another way to bring the price down.

I pay avg 12-13$ here and they charge $1.99 for each movie ticket in the website.

You can use it towards concessions for the full value of a credit. ($11)

I've been doing the movie club for a few years now. Between the no online fees, and the discount on concessions, it's been a pretty good deal. (although considering the concessions are always overpriced.)

I combine this with the discounted gift cards from Costco to buy extra tickets and concessions and I find it to be worth it.

What happens if you gift someone who already has membership? Will it roll over?

They will get 12 credits instead. I did that for myself. I got 2 years right away and received 24 movie credits.
