I got one of these, it actually works quite well and has good battery life, my complaint is that it is very bright white rather than warm which isn't what you want carrying around a campsite.

I have this too. It is too bright on the highest setting. Like searingly bright on the eyes. Next setting down works very well. Perfect for my fire pits. Build quality is pretty good. Red light setting is nice and chill and would probably be good for a night light. Flashing emergency light could be helpful but I'd probably never use it. Already keep a little triangle flasher in my vehicle in case of emergency. Lantern handle is robust and just the right length. I tested the usb and it will charge my phone. 4000mah battery seems to last several hours. At least on the lower setting. IDK, Seems pretty good for 9 bucks.
If I could improve on it I would add one lower setting. I'd also add a flashlight option. But again, at this price I can't complain. It's pretty nice and very usable.

Yeah, that's a nice looking one as well. Addition of the flashlight would be nice and it might be more weather proof as well. Only thing I don't like about it is that tiny little handle. Maybe it's bigger than it looks. But if I
Could grab this one for about 9 bucks I'd probably get it

It has strange charging requirements, only USB A on the wall outlet and USB C on the lantern, any other combination does not work.
