Be careful if getting this as any part of a gift for someone. I bought 2 earlier this month, one for myself and one to put as part of a gift basket.. even aside from being very broken inside, they were somewhat stale tasting even though it hadn't reached the expiration date yet.

Came to post exactly this. Purchased these on the previous FP SD and they Arrived damaged, box in perfect condition, and very stale even though expiration date was 2026.

Yep, I would agree. All the cookies I've gotten from Amazon have arrived quite broken up and full of crumbs.

I haven't tasted the cookies yet. I received 3 boxes in my S&S shipment yesterday. My intent was to give them as Christmas gifts, but 2 things give me pause on that idea. First, the numerous complaints about them being stale. I don't think I want to be known as "that guy who gives out stale Christmas cookies." Second, not as a big a deal, but this is just false advertising. Look at the pic in the ad which indicates Christmas/Holiday cookies. The three boxes I received are just plain Pepperidge Farms cookies boxes. I guess I have 3 boxes of cookies to try out rather than give out. :-(

Adding another voice to this. i got them a few weeks ago. Didn't feel the Pepperidge Farm quality. It seemed like the Temu version. I don't know if they were stale but they were just okay

Jumping on the bandwagon. Bought 3 boxes of these for myself and family members. All stale. Some broken pieces. The box is very cheap and thin. I'm surprised it wasn't completely inedible from exposure to air. The box might as well not exist.

Mine arrived crushed to dust by 20 cans of ravioli. Took 2 chats to get a refund, but for some unknown reason, the associate ordered a replacement for the entire order. Shipped via UPS, which replaced my 24 pounds of food with a 6 ounce bag of tree bark. Open to conspiracy theories - UPS employees or Amazon employee who set up the replacement shipment? Or both.
I didn't lose anything, as I got reimbursed for the cookies, but someone used me to rip off Amazon, and that ticks me off.
