Picked this up last January. Enormous and Gorgeous. Absolutely Zero regrets. Dont think you'll get a better price on this model, if you're thinking about it, I highly recommend.

I ended up pulling the trigger on the QM8K after I got a 30% cash back offer from Capital One. It also applied to the QM7K, putting it at $1,500ish, and the 8K ended up being $2099. YMMV

Not sure, but I got the 98" UM8K. I Saw all 3 side by side...7,8,9. 8 was worth the extra coin, 9 was not. It was just brighter, but so bright you will never use it cranked up. Nobody needs that much brightness. 8 is crazy bright too. BTW, I was able to easily get BB to pm NFS including installation for 2799 for the um8k, Ymmv.
What is NFS?

Can anyone that received thier TV already confirm that these dimensions from The TCL support website [helpjuice.com] are correct? 84mm(3.31") seems way to close to the bottom of the TV. I thought it was low but around 10" from bottom of TV to lower vesa mount hole.

They are, but they are also offering a "Price Protection" until Jan 15th, so if NFM has them for $1,800 on the 2nd, remember to call them

It looks right. I do not own this one but from the picture in your link, you can use the height minus the upper to vesa distance and minus 500 mm (vesa 600mm x 500mm), you will get about 8cm. It is impossible that the pic has two wrong measurements.

A better deal is available through Walmart: the item costs about $2,000, a 5-year protection plan is only $75, and Angi installation is included for free. If you understand how to use the insurance, you're basically well covered—no need to spend 25% of the product's price on Geek Squad protection.Angi can be a mess, but there's a workaround: when they create the booking page for your installation, include very specific details that make the job sound more complex. Most contractors won't accept it, and after enough failed matches, you can escalate. At that point Angi usually ends up paying out more to bring in a qualified professional, even if it means they take a loss, because they want to maintain their contract with Walmart.
I sent you a DM but can you let me know what details to add? I reordered this through Walmart.

ok here is my situation. I ordered this tv from amazon couple days ago for $2180 plus tax with 4 year warranty. however I was able to get one of those crazy sam's deal yesterday before it sold out which is 85 inch samsung QN90D for $997 plus tax and 5 year warranty included. is there any clear winner between these two tvs, I am just trying to decide which one to cancel. I will be using Apple TV 3rd gen and my current samsung s990d sound bar. thank you for your help and feedback. if I return the sams club I have to take it back myself, but if I am not mistaking, amazon come pick it up free if I return it.

QN90D doesnt have Dolby Vision. Hard pass for me. I cancelled my $1050 qn90d for the qm7k 98" for $2k back in Jan. No regrets. 98" with DV and full dolby surround makes going out to movies irrelevant. Ps5 gaming on the 98" has been next level.

Got the Hisense U7 for 2200, it had lower reflections (I have a windows opposite TV) and similar picture quality. I think it had a ADS Pro (IPS type panel).

so there is a big difference between HDR10+ and Dolby vision? I haven't see both side by side so I wasn't sure the difference is so drastic therefore it's a deal breaker? I know nothing can replace the 98 inch immersion but I figured processing and PQ would be better on samsung.
