RAM speed is 7467 MHz according to the Best Buy website. Buying this as Open Box - Excellent for $1200 is the real deal!

Would you get this deal over the ideapad pro 5i at Costco for $1000. Looks like basically the same specs but this has better speakers and better keyboard/trackpad?

Also better build quality and webcam, but most importantly less likely to have quality control problems. I'd get it over the ideapad only if excellent open box gets down to 1100$ or less.

Can anyone verify that there is an SD card reader? The specs on the website say no Media Card Reader, but the pictures look like it has one.

I caved bought open box excellent for $1200. I think the better build quality, speakers, keyboard, trackpad, etc is worth the extra $200 compared to the upcoming Costco deal for the Ideapad Pro 5i, especially since I plan to use it for the next 4-5 years. Hopefully the open box excellent isn't a lemon!

I received it today, it only has 3 battery cycles on it and otherwise looks brand new. It is definitely better built than the ideapad pro 5, it is a tad heavier which is my only downside for the laptop so far. The screen is amazing and the 285h with 32gb is plenty fast for my use. The touchpad is a noticeable improvement than the one on the ideapad, I have not used the keyboard enough yet to tell the difference. It looks like I would get 6-7 hours of moderate use with the dGPU turned off in battery saver mode, but I use this around the house primarily and battery life is not a big deal otherwise I would have gotten a lunar lake laptop. I would not spend an extra $550 to get the yoga pro 9 over the ideapad pro 5 with the same specs, but an extra $200 for open box excellent was worth it for me.
